Veteran Care for Substance Use Disorders

ECHO Idaho’s Veteran Care for Substance Use Disorders series provides a virtual platform for clinicians and public health professionals to understand how substance use is affecting the Veteran population across the state of Idaho.

由一个 interdisciplinary panel of experts specializing in substance use disorders, including expertise in addiction medicine, 咨询, 精神病学, 还有社会工作, this series helps participants learn and implement best practices for treating Veteran patients with substance use disorders. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in interdisciplinary conversations and case-based learning. 这些小时, virtual sessions are a convenient and interactive form of learning designed to be immediately applied to your current practice.

The Veteran Care for Substance Use Disorders series equips learners from all medical disciplines, including primary care providers (MD, DO, PA, NP, RN, PharmD), 辅导员, 社会工作者, 心理学家, community organizations, and public health professionals, with strategies to address substance use among the Veteran population.

Professional Development: Participants gain new skills and competencies for managing patients.
